Fraud Alert: Phone Scam Targeting RCOM Patients
The practice recently became aware of a small number of spoofed telephone calls in which third parties falsely displayed our clinic phone number and requested sensitive personal information. To our knowledge, no patient protected health information was disclosed or compromised in connection with these calls.
RCOM will never call you and ask for your Social Security Number, full payment card number, or account passwords over the phone.
If you receive a suspicious call appearing to come from one of our clinics, hang up and call us back directly using the number listed on our website. To report a suspicious call, contact as at [email protected].
